VAT rates in the EU

Could we have more different tax options? For example, if I'm offering a service like coaching, I have to add tax; it needs a 21% tax, but when I am selling an ebook, it's just 5%. Right now, I can't do that and it has to be 21% and that cannot be. So when I am selling a product, I should be able to select the tax rate I will need to use for it. We'd need a standard VAT, plus a Reduced 1 and Reduced 2 option. This would massively help EU merchants.

This would require specific VAT on a product basis instead of for the whole store, right?

Daniele that is correct. Each product will need specific VAT as you can offer 1:1 coaching, PDF ebook or digital key to your app and they will have different VATs.
